A casual “one button” arcade game where you have to hop from planet to planet with space-travelling penguins. It was made for Ludum Dare 42.

I was the lead programmer and gamedesigner of this project.

Gameplay and Mechanics

The player controls a spacheship filled with penguins as they orbit around Earth. The penguins need to leave the planet because of global warming. You hop from planet to planet, trying to survive as long as you can.

The mechanics are simple yet fun: you only need to use one button (Space by default). The penguins orbit around the planet automatically and when you press space the ship jumps in an arc from the current location. However, you can hold space to boost the ship. In this case, the ship only makes the jump when you release the button.
