A short puzzle game with 9 levels, focusing on the narrative and theme.

I solo designed and developed this game in a week for the 33rd Godot Wild Jam.

Gameplay and Mechanics

The player controls a villain intern. You need to put obstacles in front of heroes to stop them from getting their fame and glory. You work for your truly evil boss Emma.

You solve puzzles by putting down different obstacles to the available spaces. When you’re ready with the layout, you can watch the hero’s journey unravel.

Highlights

  • first time making a game completely solo
  • first time trying my hand on writing characters and narrative (I’m still happy with how it turned out)
  • first time making a puzzle game and designing puzzles
  • proud of making it into the top 10 of a game jam (ended up being 8th)
